Salon Manager / Lead Stylist — Grand Opening, Sharkey's Cuts for Kids Westwood

Sharkey's Cuts for Kids — an award-winning children's salon franchise with over 200 locations — is opening a brand-new salon in Westwood. We're hiring our founding Salon Manager.

What you'll do:

Lead, coach, and develop a team of stylists — by example and through real management
Help create the culture of the salon. You're the vibe-setter.
Interview, hire, and train the team with owner support
Run daily operations: scheduling, inventory, opening/closing, handling call-outs
Cut hair on the floor alongside your team — this is a working manager role
Make nervous kids laugh and anxious parents feel at ease

Requirements:

Active Massachusetts cosmetology license (you'll be named on our salon license)
Prior leadership, lead-stylist, key-holder, or management experience in a salon
Resume required
Saturday availability; Sundays on a rotating basis
Genuine love for kids and high-energy family environments
